About Me
My name is Shelby Davenport. I am twenty-three years old, and I am a graduate of College of the Ozarks with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education.
Outside of my academic studies at CofO, I represented the English Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta, as a homecoming candidate in the 2017 Miss Hard Work U pageant, and I attended a school trip to Belize where I worked with English Language Learners in an impoverished environment. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching yoga classes and traveling with my husband. In our 3 years of marriage, we have been to Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Canada, London, Paris, Strasbourg, Lucerne, Munich, Venice, Rome, and over 20 states in the continental United States. However, there is no place like home. Born and raised in North-Central Arkansas, I will always consider this area my home. Harrison has a wonderful community and an excellent school environment. I could not ask for a better place to begin my teaching career. |
